I got both my undergraduate degree in psychology (2005) and masters degree in social work (2007) from the University of Iowa. I’ve had my advanced practice independent license since 2013 and am licensed in both South Dakota and Iowa. I focused on geriatrics and end of life care in graduate school and I’ve worked in nursing homes, assisted living, home health, hospice, inpatient psychiatry, and outpatient case management over the last 20 years. My areas of expertise are: grief, loss, trauma, self-care, self-love, career change, life adjustment, anxiety, professional advancement, entrepreneurship and leadership. I have extensive experience working with grieving people, caregivers and health care providers.
